About This Course

To be ready for the preparation of annual financial statements and tax returns, there are a number of tax issues that are important to consider at the end of the year. In this webinar, we will review these issues. We look at two types of year-end tax issues: those that must be adjusted before the end of your financial year and those that year-end provides a good opportunity to review.

Issues will be reviewed within the following categories:

  • Assets
  • Deductions
  • Dividends
  • FBT
  • Imputation
  • Taxable income (timing)
  • Losses & subvention
  • Management fees
  • Provisional tax
  • Trading stock
  • Brightline test
  • Records

Suitable for: Anybody involved in the year-end preparation of financial statements and/or income tax returns. It will particularly suit intermediates and above in public practice and corporate accountants.
