About This Course

The purpose of this webinar is to ensure you are aware of the transfer pricing requirements that may apply to your clients or employer and what the main issues are.

While most consider transfer pricing to be in the realm of large multinationals, it equally applies to SMEs. Whether it is an NZ operation of an overseas entity, or an NZ entity with operations overseas, transfer pricing will still apply to all inter-entity transactions.

We will review the common inter-entity transactions Inland Revenue might examine if they were to review your business.

The webinar will discuss the following:

  • Background to the regime and why it exists
  • Related party sales
  • Management fees
  • Transfer pricing of interest rates
  • Safe harbour thresholds for interest
  • Permanent establishments and profit allocation
  • Cost plus structures
  • Stripped risk distributors
  • BEPS implications

Suitable for: Accountants and other professionals advising their clients or employers on aspects of transfer pricing for the SME market.

Content will primarily be targeted at experienced advisers who have an understanding, but not necessarily deep knowledge of the topic areas covered.
