OBJECTIVES: The course is founded on the IPA and CCH Updated Tax Guides as well as the Income Tax Assessment Act 1997(ITAA97) and the Income Tax Assessment Act 1936 (ITAA36), also the Taxation Administration ACT 1953. It also covers Australian Federal Budget news and announcements and general comments. It is mainly directed to accounting and finance professionals in order to upgrade their skills and maintain their professional development.
OUTCOMES: Upon completion of this course the participants are expected to be able to: Understand the Legislation behind the Personal Services Income - PSI Get familiar with the application of the PSI Legislation, how is applied, and how it works Learn what the PSI rules are and apply them to the tax returns with reference to the appropriate tax law.
