In this course, participants will learn the benefits of plain language communication. A step-by-step guide is provided to demonstrate specific strategies and techniques that can be used. Topics include: knowing your audience, using everyday phrases and words, writing short sentences and paragraphs, using active verbs, using visual aids and lists, avoid nominalizations, etc. Examples are given throughout the course and participants can pause the recording to practice the techniques.
