Learn About Creative, Critical and Applied Thinking

Society has lost its grip on what matters most: the ability to think. Though the root cause is by no means malicious, we have begun to reward speed over quality, distractedness over focus, and the negative effects suffered in both our personal and professional lives are potentially catastrophic. We need a return to balance between the three components of productive thought: dream, decide, do … and then repeat.
At the end of the course, you will be able to: • Recognize the effects poor thinking is having on employees and organizations • Define the difference between reflection and action – being made aware of indifferent, inflexible and indecisive thinking attributes • Distinguish the traits that make up Creative, Critical and Applied Thinking – in other words, dream, decide, do and repeat

As a Certified Training and Development Professional (CTDP) with years of experience working with associations, I am currently the Executive Director of the Institute for Performance and Learning or I4PL. Our purpose is to elevate the performance of the Canadian workforce.
