
A balanced scorecard is a dashboard that displays a mix of performance measures across the key elements of the organisation's strategy. A Sustainability Balanced Scorecard includes metrics which help the organisation improve its positive environmental, social and governance impacts as well as support business success. This course aimes to help you create a Sustainability Balanced Scorecard.
The art of the Balanced Scorecard is to use a small set of performance measures to illustrate how effectively the organisation’s critical processes are delivering the desired results in terms of environmental, social and governance performance. In this course we cover the elements of the Balanced Scorecard; the importance of a sustainability strategy; how to develop measures for a Sustainability Balanced Scorecard; example sustainability metrics; implementing the Balanced Scorecard successfully; and measuring and managing performance.
The course is aimed at all managers interested in developing a sustainability strategy and related performance measures for their organisation, as well as students of business and all those interested in business sustainability. No prior knowledge or pre-course preparation is required.
