The B Corp standard is an increasingly popular accreditation awarded to companies that meet high standards of social and environmental performance, accountability, and transparency. There are now nearly 10,000 B Corp companies across 102 countries, and that number has grown rapidly in recent years.
The B Corp standard is managed by the nonprofit organization B Lab in conjunction with 15 partner organisations around the world. To achieve the standard, companies have to show ethical performance and positive impacts in seven areas of their business, including governance, climate action, working conditions, human rights and environmental stewardship.Â
In this course, we explore what B Corp status means and how it is achieved. The B Corp assessment standard was revised in 2025, and this course covers the new requirements.
